My Favorite Things…

Here are some great last minute gift ideas for the movement people in your life. I use all of these items and unfortunately I’m not being paid to promote any of theses items.

  1. Naboso Products

I love pretty much love the full range of products from Naboso. If you aren’t familiar with the brand, they produce products with a patented texture designed to stimulate the nerve receptors in the feet. It is great for maintaining a foot to hip connection and giving the brain more information for where the feet are in space. I don’t go anywhere without the insoles in my shoes and the socks are also a new product that is just great. The standing mat is also a very practical gift idea.

  2. OPTP Franklin Air Ball

This is my favorite ball. The classic sad barely inflated ball which is great for so many different things. It’s always a great Pilates prop in class but due to its soft nature it’s also great for pressure and feedback all over the body. The soft nature makes it safer for rolling more vulnerable areas and is very inviting to the nervous system.

  3. Gaiam Restore Ankle Weights

I love these ankle weights in particular for a few reasons. First is they are very soft and they fit very well around my ankles. I do think they are on the big side so if you have little ankles these might not be helpful for use at the ankle. I do like the velcro which allows me to put them together and I can use them around the thigh. Connecting them also allows me to use it as a handy feedback tool. Think like a long skinny weighted blanket. I’ve found so many uses for them that it’s money well spent.

  4. OPTP Soft Foam Roller

Everyone still seems to be really into foam rolling. I am always telling people it shouldn’t be torture. If foam rolling hurts a lot then you cannot get the benefits of it. The solution for many people is that they need a softer foam roller. I highly recommend this roller. It is foam rubber and a lot more forgiving than the hard styrofoam rollers.

  5. Theragun Mini

The theragun mini is a winner and great gift idea. I like the lowest setting the best which is why I don’t think anyone needs more than the mini. The vibration quality is great when you need a little buzzing to wake things up.
